I finished "Your Beautiful"!

 (originally posted on deviantart)

I started watching "your beautiful" a month ago.

After watching Mary Stayed Out All Night, a friend suggested I watch it. She said JGS was much more likable in this drama which I couldn't believe since I thought he was amazing in Mary. (until the end)

Well, I FINISHED IT LIKE 5 MINUTES AGO!! And she was right! Out of all of the Korean dramas I've watched so far your beautiful has got to be my favorite! JGS is so amazing (it's the eyeliner!) His eyes are what definitely standed out in this drama.

I just loved the 3 guy main leads. Jeremy made me laugh so much, he's so cute, and I love his hair color. The reporter was annoying, and so was Tae Kyung's mother, Yoo He Yi, and Mi Nam's aunt. Yeah, that director guy and his random outbursts of english was so entertaining! It's so funny how Mi Nam's brother never showed his face. I'm like, that's because it's the same person... *___*

One of the best things about drama's are the soundtracks, and I really loved the music for the drama~
Almost all of it is going on my ipod (hopefully...)

After this, I want to continue to watch more dramas. (because their addicting) I've watched 9 so far: (in order of watching) I'm sure you can tell which one's are K drama's and which one's are J drama's by the names.
Zettai Kareshi , Hana Kimi, Coffee Prince, Personal Preference ,Hana Yori Dango, Boys Over Flowers, Mary Stayed Out All Night, Nobuta wo Produce, and Your Beautiful

Well Park Shin Hye (Go Min Nam) and Jung Yong Hwa (Shin woo) are staring in a drama called "You've fallen for me" in June.
I'm definitely watching it.
I've been eying Deka Wanko, which is a J drama based off of a manga. My reason for watching it was because the main character wears lolita clothes  But after watching 15 minutes of it, It didn't catch my eye at all, so I've decided not to watch it.
I've also been eying Dream High. I don't know any of the cast, but the story seems kind of cool~ I might also watch Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta, which is a j drama.
I think I'll watch Dream High first.

I also took a picture of my art supplies!
I't's taken so long to collect as much as I have, and I even had to pay for some of it myself. But anyway, they are my most treasured things.

Long rant

I haven't been feeling well (mentally, not psychically) I'm worried about so many things. Grades, SAT's and other personal stuff. My GPA has dropped from a 3.65 to a 3.2 and I calculated my GPA for the 3rd marking period and it's a 3.0.

Algebra II, for once, isn't the problem. (I got a B 3red semester) It's Chemistry, and that Awful stupid pointless PSAT math prep class that I was forced take in which I got a 65% in.
When I was forced to sign up for PSAT prep, I thought it would be a good chance to up my SAT scores. But you know, it didn't even help. I TRIED to pay attention, I re-did EVERY test I failed (I failed all of them) and went over it with my mom. I TRIED to do the class work with honesty and not look in the back of the book, but It was all meaningless in the end. Not only did I have a demanding, evil teacher who graded harshly (what happened to A for effort?) her lessons were boring, our classes had no variety, and there were NO chances for extra credit.
Towards the end of the last class with her, I was like, forget this. I stopped taking notes. I didn't do the classwork. I should of did this halfway through the marking period. I knew I was going to fail anyway.

I'm so surprised and happy at the support I got from my mom. She expects me to do well with my grades. I can't get a C in any class other than math. My mom understood that this class was hard for me. I've sucked at math ever since I was little. Any other parent would of yelled at me, but my mom listened to me complain, helped me with my homework, and sympathized with me. She reassured me that she didn't care if I failed PSAT prep, after all, it's not one of my core classes. Colleges look at your SAT scores, they don't care If you failed the class. She also said I could pull my GPA up over the next two years and that my PSAT grade would average out If I got a good score in the English class. And I think I will do better in English. The teacher is much more nicer, I like English better, and I'm better at the English SAT's than the math part.

My mom reassured me, but I was surprised my friends didn't. I told my friend about my bad PSAT score on a test I took. I told her that I had to re due it at lunch. I told her because I was sad about it, even though I laughed when I said I got a 50%, I was still feeling upset.  She laughed and said How can you fail the PSAT's? it's common sense. I know she was just joking, but It really stung, what she said really upset me.

My other friend was forced to take the PSAT class, just like me, except she didn't need to take it, where as I did. The PSAT's are easy for her. I didn't see her grade, but I'm sure it's an A. I'm sure she had no problem with the homework or classwork. One time, she said the classwork was super easy. Well, I thought It was really hard...
The SAT's AREN'T common sense. If they were, we'd all pass. Some things are hard for some people, for some people they are easy. WHY can't anyone understand this. That's why, I never bring up the topic of PSAT's to my friends anymore. I mean, they mean no harm when they say it's easy.

it's not easy for me.

And Spanish. I AM SO SICK OF IT I CAN'T TAKE IT A MOMENT LONGER. My teacher just yells and rants off directions for 30 minutes all in Spanish. We do these stupid activities and she yells at us for the littlest of things.  Half the time I don't know what she's saying. I want to tear my ears out.I don't hate Spanish as a language, but my initial language that I'm learning is Japanese.  Well, after this year, my language credits are DONE.  I planned to stop after Spanish II, but I figured out Chinese is going to be offered next year. Japanese is derived from Chinese, I figured I'd take Chinese I and Chinese II.

The only things I have to look forward to are Spring break, Sakura Matsuri, and several new singles and albums from my favorite artist.  I can't wait until Summer.

I'm so sick

of just everything.

I feel so bad about complaining. There are people in japan, Africa, and other countries without food, water, shelter, power, who have lost family members and friends. Here I am so spoiled and un grateful complaining about how sucky my life is when there are more un fortunate things going on in the world.

Here is a picture of the Sakura tree in my yard.

The pink sakura are starting to change to the pretty red leaves that appear on it every Summer. Every time I look at this tree, It gives me hope.

Some photos I took around my neighborhood:

Obento 2

Last week, I made another bento for school. It consisted of fried rice and chicken nuggets. I took pictures again!

This is a picture of me sauteing the vegetables and chicken. I have stream beans, broccoli, peas, carrots, and corn in here!
This is a picture of me adding the egg in!
This is what it looks like after I added the soy sauce. The fried rice is done!
These are what the chicken nuggets look like. Their Disney chicken nuggets shaped like Mickey Mouse, how cute! They taste good!
This is a picture of what my bento looks like when I finished
Hmmm. Part of making bento's is to have it look colorful and appetizing. It tastes great, but I need to work on color and layout. It looks really boring to me.

Hopefully, I can improve on the next one!

Song review: Sakura no Ki ni Narou + SKE covers

Sakura no Ki ni Narou by AKB48, their new single.

While I love songs like RIVER, Beginner, and Oogoe Diamond, AKB48's ballads are what really make me like them. This song is just so beautiful, and kind of sad, it made me shed a tear when I watched the MV. Though a tad bit boring
*____________________*

Plus... Matsui Jurina was also featured A LOT in this single, and I'm so happy about that because she looked so gorgeous! (love you jurina!) But not only Jurina, at least two other SKE members (including Matsui Rena) were in this AKB single! I know other people have problems with SKE members being in AKB singles, but I have no problem with it! The more the merrier, right? But these Theater Girls, Under Girls, DIVA, MINT, etc are really confusing!! There are too many sub groups and groups, I can't keep up. But I like Under Girls' songs. They have really nice songs!

Is anyone else LOVING these covers? Their gorgeous!! The colors blend together nicely, everything looks peaceful.

SKE48's Banzai Venus covers are just as good as AKB's! (VERY bright!) Looking forward to this single!
Ishida Anna (center) Is so cute!!!

Yesterday...

Which was Saturday, I went to the mall! My mom brought me a Hello Kitty shirt from hot topic, it's really cute!! I also got 3 manga books.

1. Koko ni Iru yo! (I am here) volume 1.
This is also the author of pixie pop, but I never read pixie pop because I could never get into it. But I am here is just WONDERFUL!! The art is gorgeous! Everything is so shiny!!! I don't know who does the screen tones for Ema Toyama, but they are a PRO! The use of screen tones in this manga is just amazing, see:

LOOK AT THAT. I THINK I DIED OF CUTENESS WHILE READING THIS. I also cried. A lot. Because I can relate to Sumino. Up until 6th grade, I had no friends. I know how it feels to be alone, not noticed by anyone and invisible. This manga is on mangafox, but I want the manga in my hands! I wanted to be able to own it and look at it any time I wanted.  It cost me $22, but hey, the book is the length of 3 mangas! It was SO worth the money!!!

2. Zettai Kakusei Tenshi mistress Fortune (Mistress Fortune)
By the author of Full Moon and Shinshi Doumei Cross. I have been waiting FOREVER to read this manga!! Arina tan's manga are always so very very detailed! That's why it's hard for me to read her manga online. I'd rather buy her manga, plus the art is pretty! Mistress Fortune was really funny!! I'm glad I brought it! I love the characters in this! It also came with a pull out poster thing, it's double sided!!!

Shojo beat's manga went up $1 like a year ago. They are starting to include color pages in their manga like yen press does, I'm happy about that because no it's worth it to buy shojo beat if they have a color page in it!

3. Otome Koi Kakumei Love Revo!! volume 3 (Ugly Duckling's love revolution)
Is actually based to an otome game! And you can totally tell because there are like 8 hot guys surrounding the main character! I love this manga so much! The art is shonen style though! O____O I was surprised that I liked it! Hitomi, who is the main charcter weighs 220 pounds and is trying hard to lose weight! However, this isn't realistic because normally guys would be tease Hitomi because she's fat. it's just the way life treats fat people. But The guys around her are so nice, and they help her an encourage her into losing weight! Why can't real life me like this? It is $12 because yen press is sooo expensive! BUT!! It comes with a color page poster!!

Tomorrow is valentine's day. I plan to draw a picture but I hope I have enough time to do it!!!

Fun Saturday

Today, I'm going to see a ballet performance with my mom at 7:30pm! It's not the classical ballet, you know, like the Nutcracker. It's dance ballet (I think). It's more modern.
I really enjoy watching ballet. It looks so graceful and it amazes me how people can be so flexible!!

I also drew another picture! It's on a huge piece of paper (12" x 12") It looks better in real life (as does all traditional art)

I tested new colors I got. I am also slowly collecting Copic markers. I can buy them at hobby lobby and it's great because every time I go to my grandma's house, there it is!!! (I have to use my own money most of the time, but I use 40% of coupons which is nice.) They choose such a convenient location because copic markers aren't sold at Micheals. Dick Blicks, which is an even bigger art store is opening a store in Washington DC! I can't wait to visit. (granted my mom will drive me all of the way over there...)

Obento

For the last year, I've been obsessed with bento making! I've got two bento cook book's so far.

The first is Just Bento, which is a relatively famous bento blog/site that's run by Maki. I like it because it mixes Japanese, American, and even some other food from other countries together to form delicious meals appropriate for bento making. 5/5! You will not regret owning this cook book ore reading Maki's website, I know I didn't!: Read It Here! Buy it on amazon or your local book store!

The second is a bento cook book called kawaii bento boxes that teaches you how to make cute-type bento. I love this because it's so cute! It tells you how to make faces on your food and how to decorate your bento so It looks, well, cute. It also groups food by color and includes extra recipes. 4/5 because it makes you flip back and forth If the recipe for that food was already mentioned on another page. Buy it on amazon!

Although I haven't tried any of the recipes or bento's in the cook book's it yet, they are both a great reference and the pictures from both are just gorgeous!!

Last night, I decided I wanted to make a bento for school. Originally, I was going to have salmon onigiri in it but ran out of time and couldn't make them! So, I decided to have rice with furikake sprinkles son top, tamagoyaki, broccoli, and salmon. I took pictures this time!

cooking the tamagoyaki:

Rolling it up in a sushi mat so it keeps it's form! And then you take a sharp knife and cut it:

Salmon:

Here are all of my materials together:

And this is the final product! Not too professional, creative, or neat though. I'm still learning...
I also made my sister one too! Her's is on the right, mine is above and on the left:

Well, that's it for now. I hope to post more better looking bento when I improve.
